Catawba Riverkeeper offers impactful employee engagement and volunteer opportunities for corporate groups and small businesses. Your team can connect with one another and make a difference in our community.

Stream Cleanups

Stream cleanups are our  most popular employee volunteer activity. Catawba Riverkeeper will scout locations, register your participants, provide supplies, and host you on-site for a local stream cleanup.

Dates and locations to be mutually agreed upon. Catawba Riverkeeper can typically accommodate groups of 25 per location.

Stream cleanups cost $1,000. Email  diana@catawbariverkeeper.org to book your outing.

Lake/River Cleanups by Kayak

Kayak cleanups are a great option for more adventurous, active groups. Catawba Riverkeeper will scout locations, register your participants, provide supplies including kayaks, paddles and PFDs, and host you on-site for a local lake/river cleanup.

Dates and locations to be mutually agreed upon. Catawba Riverkeeper can typically accommodate groups of 15.

Kayak cleanups cost $1,500. Email  diana@catawbariverkeeper.org to book your outing.

DIY Cleanup

Do-it-yourself cleanups are great for groups with an organized leader and a limited budget.

Choose your own section of creek or river to cleanup and we’ll provide the supplies while you provide the cleanup power! We'll give you a how-to guide to help you plan and execute your cleanup.

DIY cleanups cost $500 for corporate groups.

Email diana@catawbariverkeeper.org to get started.

Team Building

In partnership with the North Carolina Outward Bound School, Catawba Riverkeeper offers customized team building programs throughout the year. We can provide an opportunity for your team members to strengthen personal and professional ties with colleagues, get to know one another better, work together as a team and have fun while participating in a series of activities designed to challenge colleagues to work more effectively together.

A menu of indoor and outdoor programs are available including recreation activities like kayaking and hiking and social time at one of our taproom locations in McAdenville and Cramerton, NC.
